研究概要
Tochigi Prefecture is one of the top strawberry producers in Japan. My study has focused on understanding the key factors controlling economically important traits and modifying these processes using genetic engineering and genome editing technologies. Our ultimate goal is to use gene transfer technologies to create and commercialize a strawberry cultivar that captivates consumers with both its taste and appearance.
